  • The Kennel Club Field Trial Secretaries’ Seminar - which will be held at The Kennel Club Building, Stoneleigh Park on Saturday 20 May 2023.

The Kennel Club Gundog Working Test

The Kennel Club Gundog Working Test will once again be held at the spectacular Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire from Wednesday 14 June to Sunday 18 June 2023. This year’s event will host the exciting International Retriever Team Competition and the highly competitive Gundog Working Tests for Retrievers, Spaniels and HPRs.

To mark The Kennel Club’s 150th Anniversary, this year’s working test will also feature a special invitational event featuring some of the UK’s top dogs and handlers. The teams will consist of two Retrievers, two Spaniels and one HPR breed, all working together to show off their talents. Some of the UK’s top judges will be officiating over the test, scoring the dogs on their hunting, marking and retrieving skills.

Spectators are welcome to attend to support their team and witness what will be an exciting and unique display of gundog work.

Entry to the Gundog Working Tests is open to all Kennel Club registered Gundog owners. The Working Tests are available to enter via www.fossedata.co.uk
